San Diego trip, 2010

Ed was asked to speak at the EDTEC Graduate ceremony at SDSU. Michelle came along to revisit the city where we used to live. Here's a picture of us and our rental car.

Windjammers in New York City

Ed took the CGA Windjammers to New York City for the 90th Veteran's Day Parade.

There is also video posted on YouTube. Enjoy!

Michelle's Last Week in Boston

We're almost done! Michelle has been holding up really well, dedicated to completing the treatment protocol. Here is a picture of her radiation team on Gantry 2 at MGH. What a crazy bunch!

Sad News to report

It is with heavy heart that I write about the passing of an inspirational teacher and mentor, Sean "M.C." McCarthy. I'll pen something more reflective over the weekend, but in the meantime, those who may wish to attend a memorial mass, it will be on Saturday the 26th at St Thomas Aquinas Church in Storrs, CT at 10:00. Details will be in the Courant on Sunday and the Willimantic Chronicle on Saturday.

Boston at night

There was a time when I called Boston my favorite city. Since then I've lived in a couple other major cities, San Francisco, New York City, and San Diego. Each had its turn in the barrel as "my favorite". Now that Michelle and I have spent a little time here, I've started to remember the features that first charmed me to this often crazy town.
